Hilton Lake Como is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located on the shores of Lake Como, just a short walk from the historic Villa Olmo and the city centre.

Opened in 2018, the hotel was created through the transformation of the former Tintoria Subalpina, a 19th-century silk dyeing factory that once played an important role in Como’s renowned silk industry.

Today, elements of the original industrial structure have been carefully preserved and integrated into the hotel’s modern architecture, reflecting the city’s long-standing textile heritage while introducing a contemporary hospitality experience. At the centre of the property stands the striking Glass Cube, an architectural feature that connects the restored historic building with the hotel’s modern wing, creating a bright and dynamic social space.
