Located on the banks of the River Inn in Tirol, Austria, the estate has been shaped by centuries of history and more than 150 years of continuous family ownership. Since 1873, six generations of the Mair family have carefully preserved, developed and reimagined Schloss Mitterhart while remaining true to its origins.
Today, the property combines two complementary worlds. The historic castle preserves the character, traditions and atmosphere of a centuries-old Tirolean estate, while the contemporary boutique hotel represents its most recent chapter. Created through the revitalisation of the former farm Gwercher Hof, the boutique hotel reflects a commitment to sustainability, regional identity and thoughtful development.
