Located in the heart of Murcia’s historic center, Palacio San Juan, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, was born from the restoration of the Palacio de Floridablanca, a building with more than three centuries of history.
This establishment marks a turning point in the region, becoming the city’s first 5-star hotel. Operated by Barceló Hotel Group, the project restores its impressive neoclassical façade—protected for its high heritage value—and reinterprets its interior spaces with a contemporary and sophisticated vision.
Its gastronomic offering pays tribute to the Murcian huerta at the Ocra restaurant, where chef Juanlu Fernández (2 Michelin stars) elevates local produce through an exceptional signature cuisine. In addition to a fully equipped gym, the hotel introduces the city’s first rooftop, Royal Heaven. This space, featuring a pool and views of the Cathedral, redefines leisure in Murcia, turning the hotel into a new social and cultural hub.
